Lacrosse Tricks

Lacrosse is thought out to be a pretty serious sport, but there are still many trick in the game. Such as the trick master Mikey Powell who has many videos that are located on my sidebar on my page. Also there are many trick competitions such as the one that is located at the championship game in harvard stadium every year for highschool. In the MLL the field is there place to do tricks because the players are so good they are able to make themselves fun to watch while playing the game. Some of the most well known tricks in the game are te flip behind the back and the behinfd the back shot these shots are most likely the most used plays in the MLL.This is why I feel tricks are a great part of the game.

BoX LAcrosse

Over the past few years I have not known about Box lacrosse but since last year I was introduced to 2 of the players and I have been following it since. The game of box lacrosse is totally different than regular lacrosse. first of all the game of box lacrosse is in a small borded area that makes the game smaller and crated many big hits and tight goals. Also the goal is in full pads which also makes the game nearly impossible to score. This is because of the very close shots. But considereing the amount of shots by both teams the games get pretty in tense because there are many fight. This is my personal expirience with box lacrosse.

Duxbury Lacrosse

The reigning 7 time division 1 champions Duxbury Lacrosse will be a great contender in the league this year. the team will be lead by the captains Mickey Zavarucha, Jb Marston and John riccardi. this year will be a tough season due to the fact that they lost their amazing superstar player quinn Cully. Also the competition this year will be tough because many of the teams such as st john prep and BC HIGH. This is why I feel there will be any close games this year , but my faith will always be with Duxbury.

The Boston Cannons

This team from Boston in the past few years has had many recruits that have led to many great seasons, but we have not had any championships yet. But this year I am hoping for a good season due to th fact that they will be lead by the reigning MVP Mikey powell. from college Mikey Powell has been considered the best person to play the game. while he was at Syracuse he did a flip in the middle of a game. Also he has the record for the most points in a season. This why I feel the Boston cannons will be a great contender in this years MLL season.

The Sport

lacrosse is one of the first sports ever created by man. In the days of the native american they played lacrosse. But they played with a different format. The way that they played was with heads and sticks with nets trying to score on a single goal. now the sport is played with two nets and a ball. Larosse has come an extermely far way in the past few years. It has went from a small club sport to a proffesional league sport.

Blazers

During the past week the international; sport of box lacrosse has started its 2010 season. the game that I will be focusing on currently is the match between the Boston Blazers and the Toronto rock. In this game the Boston Blazers team led by the league MvP Dan Dawson came out very slow. They only were able to score one goal in the 1st quarter while the Toronto Rock scored five. But throughout the game The Toronto rock rolled and the Boston Blazers failed. This is why i am presenting the game due to the fact that this was the opening day of my home towns team.
